EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT WPEL
     The Montrose Broadcasting Corporation, licensee of radio stations WPEL-AM and WPEL-FM, is a nonprofit religious organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and a religious broadcaster as defined by the regulations of the Federal Communications Commission.  As a religious broadcaster, the Montrose Broadcasting Corporation has established a religious qualification for all employee positions at WPEL-AM and WPEL-FM.  In accordance with FCC rules, the Montrose Broadcasting Corporation makes a good faith effort to recruit applicants, without regard to race, color, national origin or gender, among those who are qualified on the basis of their religious beliefs or affiliation.

CURRENT OPENINGS
   WPEL is currently accepting applications for part-time announcer/newscaster positions on weekends.  We have an opening for a Sunday afternoon/early evening shift that involved preparing and delivering three top-of-the hour newscasts as well as operating the controls of the station, giving weather forecasts and making other announcements.  It may be possible to "job share" the position with another applicant and work every other week.
