PROJECTS AT WPEL
Thank you to our contributors

From time to time WPEL undertakes special projects with the help of our listeners.  Special projects can be funded by money donated to our Equipment Fund.  The Board of Directors has adopted the following policy governing donations designated for the Equipment Needs of the stations:  " Financial contributions from listeners designated for the Equipment Needs of the Station are used to purchase broadcasting equipment; repair and maintain the broadcasting facilities including the towers, transmitter buildings and studio building; and to purchase office equipment used in the administrative support of the radio stations."

Another exciting project occurred when WPEL and our sister stations WPGM and WBGM teamed up with TransWorld Radio.  Listeners raised funds to buy the radio equipment needed for a radio station in
San Julian, Bolivia.
