As of 2024, the great state of Pennsylvania lays claim to around 49,050 farms that cover over 7 million acres of agricultural landscape forming a vital part of the states economy by producing dairy, mushrooms, corn, vegetables and cattle. Each year, many, from these mostly family run operations, come together for the annual Farm Show and State Fair.
