Since the initial passage of Roe vs. Wade in 1973, people on the pro-life side of the issue have gathered in Washington DC annually for the “March for Life.” On January 22, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a presidential proclamation designating the third Sunday of January as National Sanctity of Human Life Day.
