We have several specific days to remember military members annually. May has Armed Forces day, recognizing those who are currently serve in the US Armed Forces…and on the last Thursday of May, we observe Memorial Day to pay tribute to those brave souls who died while fighting for the freedoms we hold dear. Veterans are celebrated on November 11th…originally called Armistice Day which hales back to the end of World War 1 when fighting stopped at 11AM, on the 11th day of the 11th month of the year 1918.
