Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery that occurs in every state, including Pennsylvania. According to the Commonwealths Commission on Crime and Delinquency, human trafficking is defined as exploitation through force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of forced labor or commercial sex. Human trafficking is a crime under both state and federal laws…that can occur in any community – urban, suburban, and rural.
